Here is a quick list of some of the local art classes available in the Slidell/Covington area:
o Creative Cafe – This is an interactive art studio that features both professional artists and kids. Students can expect to make new friends, foster long lasting relationships and learn about the different media. There are various programs offered, including one-on-one consultations with professional artists, live painting workshops, art shows and art classes for children. Students can expect to work one-on-one with the artists, view art supplies and collaborate with professional painters.
o Art Smart – The art classes at Art Smart combine a hands-on technique with fun activities, allowing students to create unique works of art in a fun environment. The studio is staffed with professionals who are happy to share advice and guidance. At the end of each session, students will leave the studio with original works created in just one day. The students will also be given the opportunity to meet other artists in the area. Additionally, at the conclusion of each class, students will be given the opportunity to purchase one of three art materials from a selection of local and online businesses.
